Full House Babyproofing
Daniel Leeds is the owner of Full House Babyproofing, a professional childproofing company based in the Tampa Bay area of Florida.
Full House Babyproofing LLC was founded after I encountered many challenges in creating a safe place in our home for our son-especially after he began crawling. I realized many parents, in particular new parents, must go through the same frustrations, and that the Tampa Bay area would benefit from a qualified authority in home safety for children.
One of the most rewarding parts of my job is helping out new parents by giving them peace of mind with the knowledge that the highest quality safety products have been installed properly. As a parent myself, I understand how overwhelming it can be trying to keep a child safe from all the dangers in your home. I have found babyproofing extremely rewarding and I enjoy helping my clients create a safe environment for their children while educating them about child safety.
One of the main reasons would be time savings. The vast majority of my installations are completed in one day. Many of my clients work full time and don’t want to spend the limited amount of free time they have trying to install safety items they are unfamiliar with.
Another important reason my clients choose to work with me is my attention to detail. I always do my best to make their home safe as well as stylish, matching gates with railings and trim, and keeping safety items from being overly obtrusive.
One of my most unique childproofing situations involved a young family where the father was blind. This family had just moved into a new home with their twin toddlers and newborn son, so not only did the father need to learn the layout of the new home, but he also had to learn about all the childproofing devices that were installed. I took extra time working with the family to ensure they were all very comfortable with everything that was installed.
As an active member of the International Association for Child Safety, I collaborate on a regular basis with fellow childproofers, manufacturers, and other child safety professionals to keep up to date on the latest techniques, products, and recalls in the industry.
